The Requirements For Formaldehyde Emission Is Stricter

The new revised national standard GB18580-2017 in May 2017 will be officially implemented on May 1, 2018.
As the only mandatory national standard in industry, compared with the original standard, the new standard revised formaldehyde detection method and stipulate formaldehyde emission of plywoods for residential decoration use should be no more than 0.124 mg/m3, limited flag is E1 and cancelled the original E2 level.In addition, the new national standard also cancelled the Desiccator Method and Perforated Extraction Method to test formaldehyde emission in original standard , the determination method of formaldehyde emission was unified as "1m3 Blimate Box Method".
One of the main factors of man-made board and its products is unqualified formaldehyde release , new standards stipulate formaldehyde limit , test methods , decision rule and test reports of plewoods fou residential decoration.These requirements also apply to all kinds of artifical woods for residential decoration use .
