Drawer Construction
A.
English dovetail   construction is preferred on front and back of drawers. Dovetails must be   sanded smooth and highlighted. French dovetail is allowed when drawer fronts   are curved.
B.
Full extension,   45KG metal ball bearing glides are required on all case goods. Glides should   fully extend unless required to be restricted due to tip test failure. Glides   should have smooth operation and be free of overspray. Wood center glides are   acceptable upon buyer approval.
C.
For products   with multiple, identically sized drawers, drawers and drawer cavities should   be numbered in case the drawers are removed. A reference to this should be   listed in the care/assembly instructions.
D.
Dust partitions   are required in between drawers (unless impossible due to structure or   design).
E.
Dustproofing   required on bottom of all case good drawers.
F.
Silicone cleat   drawer stopper required, NO PLASTIC TABS.
G.
Drawers should   be fully finished (same color inside and out unless painted), sanded and   smooth to the touch on ALL surfaces.
H.
Solid wood or   birch plywood.
I.
Bottom drawers   of Master Bedroom dressers and chests as well as storage drawers of   footboards could be cedar lined.
